The hop-on hop-off bus tours in London are a good way to get around the city from one attraction to another without paying up for cab fare or walking too much, but before you pay £23 per person, you might want to check on two things:
- Weather – rainy weather means the seats will be wet, and windows fogged up. It also means you can’t sit on the open roof deck of the double-decker buses.
- Event – buses tend to alter their route on days when there is a special event (like a 10km run). So if you want to get off at Trafalgar Square, you might not be able to.
Personally, the tube system in London is fabulous and I prefer that over anything else. Sure there can be delays there as well, but it’s cheap and walking to and from the station, you get to see more.
